The area formulas for a square, rectangle, and parallelogram are the same because they are all parallel quadrilaterals. 
The length of Tennessee is 440 ft, the width is 120 ft, 
and the area based off of that is 52800 ft. 
The actual area of Tennesse is 41220 ft.

What I learned from chapter 10 is the different theorums dealing with tangents, and how raidii and diameters help you measure the different side lengths. Also I learned about inscribed angles and how to figure out angles of two raidii. Also, I have learned how to use the pythagorean theorum to solve missing tangent angles.

A job this would be most helpful for, is a construction worker.
